Yiming Guo

Yiming Guo is an Ash Music Scholar at Imperial College London, where he is reading Electrical Engineering. Alongside his degree, Yiming accompanies the Imperial College Chamber Choir and studies organ at the Royal College of Music.

In his gap year, Yiming served as Assistant Organist at Bromley Parish Church. He also held an earlier organ scholarship at Beckenham Baptist Church.

Yiming began his organ studies with Douglas Blew at St. Olave’s Grammar School, where he won the Alumni Prize for Music. After leaving school, he continued his studies with Marilyn Harper.

Recital appearances include St George’s Beckenham, Southwark Cathedral, St Dunstan’s Mayfield, and St Mary Redcliffe. In 2023, he took part in an organ masterclass led by Francesca Massey, live-streamed on Beauty in Sound.
